Switching 30 day sim only deal

Hi, i have decided to switch from Virgin to Sky as it is basically same deal £3 cheaper.
I have done the text message way to quit and got the pac code. Sky have used this and said it will switch over officially 7th Jan. They plan to bill me straight away a month in advanced so im already now paying double mobile bills in 1 calander month.
i havent yet spoken to virgin but i have read somewhere (but cant find it again now so checking on here) that once pac has been transfered 7th Jan Virgin have to stop the bill from there on out? so i get one more bill for Feb and then thats it, i wont need to do 30 day notice or keep double paying till March? please advise! thank you
