The prize:

The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, on a B&B basis, at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, in Sorrento. Set in a five-acre park on a cliff above the harbour, this luxurious five-star hotel opened 185 years ago and is built on the remains of a villa that belonged to the Roman emperor Augustus; previous guests include Richard Wagner, Oscar Wilde, Luciano Pavarotti and Princess Margaret.

Its restaurant, Terrazza Bosquet, has held a Michelin star since 2014 and offers views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. One dinner for two at Terrazza Bosquet, excluding wine, is included in the prize.

Return flights from London and transfers in Italy will be provided by Kirker Holidays, which features the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in its wide-ranging programme of luxury short breaks and cultural tours in Italy.

The prize must be taken before December 1, 2020, subject to availability and excluding July, August and public holidays.
