smart meter issues

Can anyone help?
I’m trying to find where I can locate regulations concerning the installation of smart meters.
I live in a flat where a neighbour has had a Smart meter fitted to the external side of my lounge wall. The meter bridges the cavity in the wall and the meter sits approximately 5 feet from where I sit in my lounge. I have since experienced increased health problems and I would like to follow the right course of action to find out if the meter was installed correctly and what action I can take.
Thank you

See https://www.hse.gov.uk/esqcr/index.htm and the actual regulations http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2002/2665/contents/made
But if the meter is working, and it hasn't caught fire, it was almost certainly installed correctly. It's just a pre-assembled unit that connects in place of the existing meter. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Hi there,
I'd like to assure you that smart meters have gone through rigorous safety testing. There is more information on Government's website and you can find a peer reviewed paper here as well.
I hope you find this helpful.
