Water in footwell?

Any ideas as to why the rear passenger footwell in my 06 Ford Focus is completely soaked? All the other footwells are dry so it doesn't seem to be leaking from the front to back.

If it's similar to the Mondeos of a similar vintage, the door liners go and leak like !!!!!!y into the footwells. The liners are affectionately known as "shower curtains" !!

It could be a leak in the washer pipe to the rear washer. It's quite common in a Ford Galaxy but that's usually in the front passenger side.

Been covered in here recently, think it was the rear cabin air exhausts.

That was on the later 2012 onwards Focus, not the earlier ones.

BUT, it would be well worth checking the wheel well for water, often leaks start in the boot and work forward.

The Mk1 & 2 focus rust through the rear wheel arch- 4 door are worse than 2 door, I suppose the water that gets inside through the holes has to come out somewhere.
