Thanks again, I know this is on another posters thread so I apologise. I moved away on the 22nd September 2016. Address change took effect from 1st Jan 2016 (according to my drivers licence.) I couldn’t tell you the exact date that the logbook was updated but it was around October 2016 and I don’t own the vehicle anymore.
Address on licence is irrelevant, they didnt know who was driving. From those dates, they will definitely have been writing to the old address.
I’d expect the court to conclude that your not receiving the letters - and hence the escalation of costs - is entirely your fault.

Wrong on several counts. The escalation of costs is an abuse of process and has resulted in several cases being thrown out before a hearing.

Parking companies are also required to check that their contact details are correct and people haven't moved.

This really needs to be on the parking board as there are some requirements unique to parking companies.

Thanks for the replies! I’m new here so I don’t know how to get this moved to the correct place.

It’s not an invoice I have received it’s a county court claim letter saying that the original price was £160 with court costs added on. Thanks again!
Send a PM to one of the board guides (Crabman, Savvy or Soolin) and ask them to move it for you.
