    HI yes he has but if I reset the whole thing it will change to summer, not winter time on the clock Only want to change summer to winter and cut times the timer comes on as it 3 times a day off peak but it eating elec

    It sounds like it's lost its date. The only thing you can do is to hard set it to BST or GMT manually then keep the time the same all year round.

    The only other option is to buy a new one (about £65). If you buy a new one you can use the existing housing. I did the same for my parents. It's very easy to fit if you take a photo of it before you disconnect the wiring. Just make sure you switch off the electric at the switch box first.

    Hi can anyone advise which is the best boiler as only allowed elec in my block this need one for just hot water not too expensive as we are only 3 in the flat as seems will need to replace this one as reading a comment on residents page as the are trouble after a number of years
