Jaguar Landrover have blanketed all contractors through them to be inside, unless you can prove to be outside.0

Banked a new contract through a French consultancy working on site in the UK. Declared outside ir35 - even such small things as the laptop issues in my Ltd company name.
I’ve done the math on my day rate and to take home the same even ir35 caught I would need a salary of 95k - and yes I have factored holiday and sickness into that. Even in my industry those jobs don’t come up often and usually prefer people who haven’t been contracting for 20 years.
To take home the equivalent of a more realistic salary, even caught by ir35, I would only have to work 9 months of the year - so I can be benched for 3 months before I’d be better off premier.
Outside ir35 and the ratio falls to five months needed to work to take home the same.
I’d back myself to find a new contract with between 3 and 7 months to play with.
The gravy train is not as free flowing but it’s certainly not the end of the world.0
