To be honest. If there were just 4 isolated late payments recorded in 2012, then the impact of how this would be viewed by lenders would be negligible. It is such a long time ago that lenders may disregard it completely. If it were me, I would not waste any more time on it...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

I have a few AR markers after those late payment markers unfortunately. so they will hang around.0 -
Well that’s why then.
The account will be removed 6 years from when the last AR marker was registered.0 -
Most lenders only take your last 6-18 month credit history into account when making lending decisions for loans, cards etc (if you ask them, most will tell you this, its no secret).
Mortgage applications may have different criteria, but late payment markers from 2012 will not be on anyones radar now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. That makes no sense at all. They use credit history to protect themselves against lending money to people who might not pay it back. Why would they just overlook years and years worth of information when it's available?0 -
Checkmyfile shows all possible data available, it doesn't mean lenders will look at it all. Most likely they will only take into account data from the last 6 years, but if you get declined, this could be the reason.
Try and get the lender to remove it, you may be lucky.0
