Airport transfer Mallorca(Palma) to Cala Millor

Hi,

Can anyone help me, there are 3 of us (adults) that need an airport transfer from the airport to cala millor, ive had a look around and the best offer i have found is £120 for all of us there and back, which i think is a bit extreme.

Ive seen i can hire a car for 11 nights for £145 (we are going for 11 nights by the way)

If anyone can help at all with any more info on transfers, or hire car's that'd be great.

Home someone can help...cheers
Cheers Petchy

try www.carjet.com for hire cars. Have used them before and got a brand new Ka with just a few km's on the clock! We had no problems at all and they are highly recommended.

It's probably cheaper to get a taxi once you get to the airport. In Majorca prices have to be displayed on the rank, so check the price out before you get in the car and agree the price with the driver. I would say it's about 30-45 mins in a taxi.
Here I go again on my own....

If all you're worried about is transfers (rather than needing to have a car throughout your holiday), it's easy enough to get a bus from the airport to Palma town (regular service, takes about 15 minutes), then a 300 metre walk to the bus station which has buses for all the main towns and resorts on the island. When we went recently and needed to get to Alcudia, we started by asking at one of the airport info desks and they were very helpful re public transport advice, even giving us a map of Palma town and marking on it where to get off and how to get to the buss station.

You don't say what time your flight gets in. This option wouldn't work in the middle of the night of course.

If you decide you need one-day, one-way car hire to get back to the airport, this tends to be available in resort from the main operators only (e.g. Avis, Europcar) from about €50 for a basic model.

Seems to be little difference between transfers and car hire - well worth going for the car even if you only use it half the time. Plenty of places to visit both down and up the coast from Cala Millor - scenery at the north end of the island is pretty spectacular. Also handy for the 'big shop' if you're staying self-catering, although plenty of handy supermarkets in Cala Millor.
