Completion Statement incorrect...completion on Monday

I received my completion statement late on Friday with completion on Monday.
It's incorrect with 2 issues:
I've been charged for Procurement of a Professional Search pack... It's a new build so the pack was provided by the sellers solicitors who are charging for this.
They've not deducted the amount I put on account for disbursements in September. This was in relation to another property that fell through prior to a mortgage offer or purchase report. I was told that if I instructed the solicitors on the new property purchase I wouldn't be charged anything extra.
To not delay completion, I plan to pay the balance tonight by faster payment, but removing the costs above. I've drafted an email explaining the issues above, and informing them of the payment i'll be making.
Is this the right course of action? Or should I send an email about the discrepancies and wait for an updated statement before sending money.

On Monday your solicitor will see that you have not provided the funds requested, so he won't Complete.....

This will delay Completion. And if you have Exchanged, that means you'll be charged for failing to Complete.
Pay what has been requested but send your email explaining why it's an over-payment, and request a refund.0 -
My thinking is, even if i'm somehow wrong and owe them the extra money, i can transfer that balance on Monday morning.
Or you overpay them now and they'll return the excess funds on Monday. I wouldn't worry about it either way, perfectly normal for balances to be sorted out at the last minute.0 -
thanks, i've done as suggested!0

Solicitors and money are always a bit silly. Pay and Claim back. I was contacted today by my solicitor from a house purchase in march 2019. I am not 100% clear whether they owe me or I owe them a massive £6 paymentAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

Please don't do that, it's incredibly rude. Now this thread has absolutely no information for other people that may be in the same situation.
Noted. But I appreciated that the quotes in the posts below the initial post and their responses hold the relevant info for people that may be in similar situations. My post just had additional specifics for my particular situation.0 -
It's good forum etiquette to leave your original post in place.
If you had included personal information that identified you I'd understand the wish to remove it - whether the query was resolved or not.
As you've received helpful responses, perhaps you'd like to re-instate your post?0
