Do I Have A New Kitchen?

Hi,
I hope you can help.
I ordered some kitchen units way back in August - I am yet to know when final measurements will take place and when installation will commence. I've text the shop keeper today - I'm yet to receive a reply.
It's bespoke furniture where all the cabinets are made in house. The shopkeeper has already called to take initial measurements and a 3d image has been created and stored on her laptop - the mock up looks quite good I don't mind saying. The shop is well established in our area and we've had lots of work done by her in the past with no problem. However...
...I'm getting the feeling this project won't take off. I've called to the shop on a couple of occasions to be told dates as to when things will be done - those dates have come and gone and nothing has happened. I get NO (pro-active) updates from the shop - it's always me calling to see what's what. I've already paid c£2.5k to 'get on the queue' but I don't feel as though I'm moving at all.
I appreciate there's a waiting list - I also appreciate the shopkeeper has labour difficulties. But the lack of contact is starting to worry me.
It's crossed my mind to be nice, just cancel things, ask for a full refund and move on.
What are my options?
Answers on a post-card please.
