Popping/Knocking noise in walls

Hello all, hoping someone can help!
I have just brought a 1 bedroom new build flat.
About a month ago, I noticed a knocking/popping noise coming from the walls, mainly in the bedroom. It happens at random times but at least daily and seems to happen more at night, but this may be because there are other noises drowning it out during the day.
I have spoken to the developer about this but they have said that until something actually shows up, they can't really do anything about this.
There does not seem to be anything visually wrong looking at the walls/ceiling. No leaks ect, just the odd popped nail but nothing noticeable.
Does anyone know what this noise could be? I should mention it is completely electrical flat so I don't think it can be due to the radiator pipes.
The noises sounds like when someone clicks their tongue on top of their mouth but comes from inside the walls. It mainly sounds as if its coming from the wall between the Bedroom and living room , and as you can see from badly drawn layout below, I wouldnt expect any pipes to be around that wall/ceiling as the Bathroom is to the left of this.
Door Kitchen Living Room Windows
Bathroom Bedroom
Does anyone know what this could be and why it started only 1-2 months ago and should the developer at least be trying to investigate this?
Did not seem to happen August - November.
Thanks for any help

Building materials are constantly on the move, as they adjust to different temps and humidity etc. Brick walls sometimes crack at night as they cool down. Timber walls can move a fair bit.0
