Enquiries, when should I chase? Who should I chase?

Hi,
I'm a first time buyer. Also a royal pain in the !!!! and I'm aware of this.
Our solicitors raised 'Additional Enquiries with Sellers Lawyers' on the 12th of December.
I'm DYING to chase this up. However I know that there's been the christmas period and even without taking that into account it has literally only been 3 weeks.
But I am a pest.
So, stop me ruining my solicitors/estate agents/sellers new year and pleeeease tell me when it would be appropriate to chase this up. :A
Also, who would I even chase for this? I've just been kind of annoying anyone and everyone through this whole process. (I have limited myself to sending 1 email per week and I've been as friendly as humanly possible

tell the estate agent - they will chase your seller and his lawyers. Make it clear that this is where the hold up is.0

It is your solicitor you deal with. It's them you annoy and I would be calling them on Monday asking for an update.0

When was the last time you spoke to your solicitor? If three weeks ago, certainly nothing wrong with contacting them now for an update. But given the Xmas break I wouldn't expect much to have happened in the past two weeks.0

Your solicitor is requesting it from the vendor's solicitor.
Is that solicitor getting the answer in the paperwork they'll have?
Or are they getting it from the vendor? What was the vendor doing over Xmas/NY?
Or are they getting it from a third party? How long would they have been shut down for?
I'd give them until the end of the forthcoming week - remember, Monday may well be the first business day for many people.0 -
You follow up with your solicitor, to remind them to chase the vendor's solicitor, but a friendly call to the estate agent as well really does seem to speed things up. Solicitors don't seem to be good at following up; they'll send out the questions and the other set will pass those on to the vendor but neither set will follow up if they haven't had a reply.
Bear in mind that some questions can be harder to answer and/or require paperwork such as certification, so nothing will have moved ahead over the Christmas break.0
