Quick Q for anyone who has the Lloyds 4% RS.

Mine matures in Mid April, therefore 13th payment is due to go in via SO on the 1st. Are 13 payments OK, I can't find any info on it as some RS accounts seems to restrict to 12.

My local Branch informed me that making 13th Payment wouldnt do any harm.

    Their website says:-
Save from £25 to £400 a month and enjoy instant access with a great fixed rate for one year. You can make as many withdrawals as you like into your Club Lloyds current account, but you can only pay in once a month by standing order and can’t replace what you’ve withdrawn.

I guess you opened it in mid-Apr 14, then brought forward your SO to the first of each month in order to maximise interest, which is fair game. They don't seem to limit the payments to 12 or the total sum to £4,800, so it would certainly seem that you could make another payment on 1 April. I'd be interested to know how you get on.

Yep, that's exactly what I did. I usually do with RS accounts unless I see something specific in the T&Cs which prohibits a date change to the SO.
Never had any problems so far and it's only a few quid, but it all counts ;)

Cheers Guys, I'm just going to roll with it and see what happens though I don't expect to have any problems with it

I am in the same situation.

Also I had a letter from them yesterday giving me my maturity date and options for once it matures.

One odd thing was that the date they stated on the letter for maturity was actually a few day more than 12 months from opening.

Interest on Club Lloyds Monthly Saver is due to be paid so I was told in Branch, day before it was opened. - Opened 11th April 2014, due to be paid 10th April 2015

My Club Lloyds Monthly Saver matured yesterday. They moved the money, complete with interest, into a new Easy Saver overnight. As I had one of these already sitting there, I now have 2 Easy Savers to close (in-Branch job only, annoyingly).

I have set up a new 4% Monthly Saver, and an SO to feed it, starting tomorrow.

    Thanks Archi

Mine matures on Thursday. Did the new Easy Saver have the same account number as the maturing monthly saver?

Yes it did. Which explains why they didn't use the existing Easy Saver (which must have been the product of the matured monthly saver I had a couple of years ago).

Also explains why they say they will continue to accept your standing order until you cancel it.

    Hi Folks,

Thanks for the information above about 13th payments on the Club Lloyds 4% Monthly Saver account. I have updated the entry on the first page of this thread with the information.

I cannot find anything that has changed for this weekend's update.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend.

I will do another update next weekend.
