Have an 8TB hard drive that I'd like to connect to my laptop from time to time. Any recommendations for an enclosure, they seem to be about £10 up to £20, but I don't know which is good?
I thought about power reliability and also cooling as I'll be using in Indonesia so I guess you'd want a metal enclosure?

I just bought this and am very pleased with it:

Metal case, the stand is made of some non-slip material which resists being pushed back from the front. USB3 (compatible with USB2) Takes a metal spinner 3.5" Hard drive or an SSD, up to 12 TB and UASP
I am actually using it as an inexpensive NAS by using Property-Permissions - "Everyone" across the network. The case never gets more than slightly warm to the touch, even at streaming and backup loads.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
