Bending CAT6 network cable round corner

I am planning on running some CAT6 full solid copper 23AWG from my router in the hallway to the study upstairs. A part of the cable run involves tacking the cable along just above the skirting board but the problem is the cable need to bend around a 90 degree corner and I hear you shouldnt bend this type of cable as it will damage it, websites seem to state I need a 1 inch radius for the bend which will mean it has tome come away from the wall which isnt desirable.
Is there a way round it? Perhaps with some kind of conduit that will make it look neater.
Here is a picture of a similar corner, I have a feeling the conduit here will try and bend the cable through too tight an angle though.

I would welcome any tips on how to solve this one.
Thanks

Yes there is a minimum bend radius to meet spec, but it's quite likely that violating it will have little to no impact on performance.0

If you're going round an external corner, cut into the corner with a saw, you'll probably only need to go plaster depth.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

Great idea, thanks for that. I guess the corner has that metal strip that plasterers put on but I don't see why I cannot saw through that.
Thanks0 -
alternatively you can drill a hole diagonally0

Use a flat (rather than a round) CAT 6 cable. It is neater and thre are more flexible to bend.0 -
Just bend it, the electrons won't mind. They get tangled into knots in some datacenters.0

I have my cat6 cable running around a corner in some trunking i got from B&Q.
6 years on it still works.0 -
Cat5e should do 10 Gigabit for 10 meters on good cable and is usually more flexible, So i don't think bending a Cat6 will do too much harm.
But i would just bite the bullet and chase into the wall directly up and lift floor boards where needed.0
