Discount for hop on/off Liverpool?

Hi,
Having some relatives coming from America to stay soon and we are taking them to Liverpool for a visit. They like the Beatles and we are wanting to take them on the hop on/off Beatles bus tour and possibly city tour.I've just missed the offer on Groupon&wowcher and wondered if anyone knows of any other ways to get discounts/ offers please?

My husband will be in Liverpool next week and will see if there's a tourist information centre in case there are any leafets with money off coupons, anyone know of any other ideas/places he could look?

Whilst I don't know of any current offers on the hop on/off bus, I do have an Independent Liverpool card which offers discounts on restaurants, bars, events etc. They have an offer of 20% off entry into The Magical Beatles Museum, right near the Cavern Club which may be of use for your relatives?
