Ikea PAX wardrobe construction order.

Have searched, but can't seem to find the answer! We have a Pax wardrobe with sliding doors to construct. Do you put the internal fittings (like shelves etc) in BEFORE fitting the sliding doors, or does it not matter?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It doesn’t really matter, the fittings can be installed with the doors fully opened.0

Excellent - thanks. Wasn’t sure if the interior fittings would interfere with attaching the top and bottom rails.0

I constructed a PAX wardrobe 2 x 75mm wide with sliding doors first week December.
We constructed the carcass, attached it to the wall etc then went for the doors (I had help for that day so we did all the heavy bits) - if you have the soft close kit for the sliding doors then part way through the door fitting instructions, there is an icon that we couldn't work out what it meant - it means do the soft close bit now.
Already answered above but confirmation that the sliding doors slide fully to the left or right so you have full access to the carcass for fitting the drawers and other accessories etc. I did that bit the following day on my own.
Hope this helps0 -

Hinged doors can interfere with the positioning of drawers etc, but slider don't.
That said, the interior fittings do make the carcass more steady and some of the sliders (the glass ones, particularly) can be pretty heavy!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Thanks - I did want to do the interior fittings first, so this is good to hear!
I have already cocked up once by ordering the wrong height (never knew they did 2 heights, so didn't even notice it measured 236cm's high!!!) so would rather not mess it up again!0 -

I still manage to do it and I can't tell you how many of the things I've bought and built.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
