Best advice has been 'never trust a fat man in a suit'
  • the best advice I have been given is to go through quidco for insurance saved/made a bundle there. And to put my credit card debts onto low LOB cards. Just waiting for the final bill from Virgin so I can close that card. Not intending to have credit cards anymore. Never was in debt before I was persuaded by bank to have a credit card.

My best advice was when you all told me to let the boy keep the sweatshirt. Incidentally, a follow up to that is that my husband is a plumber and there is some occasional Saturday work coming up doing guttering and my husband has offered it to this boy as our son is not interested and he is delighted and very keen. He should be able to make some decent cash if he is willing to work.

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
