Lloyds mobile and online banking are both down and have been for some time this morning. Message says they're working to rectify the situation.

Just tried to get into my Halifax account online
Still down!I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
It's across the whole Lloyds group by the looks of things. Halifax, MBNA and Lloyds all down. 1st of the month is banking day for me, with money transfers and updating my spreadsheet, so it is an annoyance.0

Daily Mail is reporting:Thousands of Halifax, Llloyds and RBS customers are beginning the New Year unable to access their bank accounts after their websites crashed.
Online banking is currently down for customers of all three banks, who have taken to social media to bemoan the outage on New Year's Day.
Large parts of Britain have been left unable to access their accounts on their computers or smartphone apps.
Halifax and Lloyds has apologised for the 'issues' and claims it is working on resolving them as a priority.
RBS, which is also part of the same company, has not yet released a statement.
And they have a helpfully supplied a map showing the outage titled 'RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) outage map'.
Oh dear.0 -
No access here either; I expect someone got drunk last night and pulled the plug out!!

:rotfl: A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.0 -
Was down yesterday lunchtime when my husband tried to log on. He spent ages on the phone and it was apparently sorted. I have only just tried mine and found it is down.0
