Win.10 clean install

I have just done a clean install of Windows 10
The iso disc I used was from 2015 and has worked in the past without issues.
This time though it will not install windows updates or Norton. Yet the os is activated.
If I click on the file icon and open quick access then desktop I get a warning message.
Every thing on my 2017 iso install everything is fine when I repeat this process.

I then did a clean install with another iso disc with win 10 on it but this time it was from 2017 and had several options of win.10
I chose my win.10 home and everything has installed and updating.
But the screen icons and text are large and I can't seem to reduce the size.
Advice please
Thanks

Try again using a fresh downloaded copy. Always saves times not having to have hours of updates before you have a ussuable system.

I always create a new usb stick when I do it (or indeed dvd if the device is only usb2 as it installs faster).

Sorted it now by updating the display driver.

I will make a fresh ISO disc and learn how to make an USB also.

In fact i will have to read up on how to do an ISO as i have forgotten.
    Thanks for the good advice
