First time mortgage with CCJ

Hi - just wondering about advice for a first time buyer with a CCJ for £3,100 which is now just over 3 years old.
We have a substantial deposit and the CCJ (for one of two parties) was unknown overpayment of wages from a previous employer which is now paid back (no excuses, I know). Neither of us have any other black marks on our credit records.
Is this likely to pose a substantial problem given the age of the CCJ, its size and it being settled and what are the possible ways around it? For interest it doesn't seem to show up on an experian credit check.
Cheers for the advice!

It will be accepted by lenders (with an explanation) or it won't.

3 years old and satisfied, you are probably bordering on high street, if not it might be slightly higher rates. A lot will come down to the rest of the case.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
