I’m sure this is obvious to lots of people, but where do you find the newsletter? I don’t think I’ve ever seen oneLife is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.3

I get it emailed to me every week. It usually goes out on a Wednesday.

It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it - that’s what gets results!

4 - Thermal Socks from L!dl
4 - 1 pair "combinations" (Merino wool thermal top & leggings)
6 - Ukraine Forever Tartan Ruana wrap

There's also a link at the top of the page "Weekly Email". Just click on it and you can go into it. I've given up on having it emailed, although it still goes into a very old email address which I haven't used for years and every so often I go on there and delete all the emails! Most of it is junk though.

Hi everyone. I’m joining you today along with a couple of others. Looking forward to see if I can stick to the challenge.
I have a question - but it is nothing to do with fashion or ration. What does it mean when you see ‘deleted user’. Does it mean that they have been banned from MSE or that they have removed themselves?3 -
Think it means they have removed themselves. I know on the Love Food Hate Waste thread Jackie O started the thread and she decided to leave MSE entirely when the website changed over this this format. I do wish she had persevered because she was full of wisdom on MSE ways.

Yes, I miss MrsLurcherwalker and JackieO too. Such a shame they left. They were full of OS ideas, and I loved hearing about their real lives. If they still read...🖐 (waves!)2025 Fashion on the ration

A belated welcome to our new friends! This is such an interesting challenge to do, as it really makes you think before you buy....
Its a shame that forum traffic is down. However, the new economic reality and with so many people losing their jobs may mean more newcomers to the site. Its at times like this that I'm glad that I'm retired.Sealed Pot Challenge no 035.
Fashion on the Ration - 24.5/66 ( 5 - shoes, 1.5 - bra, 11.5 - 2 pairs of shoes and another bra, 5- t-shirt, 1.5 yet another bra!)6 -
Please may I join? I bought -new!- a RI purse/wallet in March. Please advise how I work out the coupon thingy as I'm starting halfway through and I might need some footwear before the year is out. My sewing machine is mostly used for hemming trousers and occasionally curtains, and has mysteriously relocated to my daughter's house. I knit, but not at the moment.

Lovely to see new faces, welcome all.
Nothing changed here, still no purchases, not remotely tempted to buy anything on-line, I am so fussy about the texture of fabrics and how they feel against my skin. Still have to shield for a while, and then I will be cautious so no idea when I will be able to go into a CS, I do miss it. One purchase I want to make is for a well fitting smart pair of black trousers, that usually involves lots of trying on as I have a skinny butt and thighs, so most pairs hang off the back end and are a little tight on the front ,cos of bloating and a squidgy fat tumThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
