A gal can dream, TwibbleDee! I'm glad that the treatment is at least having a beneficial effect. Nothing worse than having your back 'out'.
I have a spend to declare - well quite a lot of spend. I brought over unused coupons from last year, and what with lockdown and all, I haven't exactly been spending much on clothes this year. So I've decided to replenish my underwear over the weekend. 4 bras, 4 pairs of bikini knickers, and 5 larger pairs, which I make a total of 32 points. I think that brings me up to a total of 61 or 62 coupons spent this year.
Sealed Pot Challenge no 035.
Fashion on the Ration - 27.5/66 ( 5 - shoes, 1.5 - bra, 11.5 - 2 pairs of shoes and another bra, 5- t-shirt, 1.5 yet another bra!) 3 coupons swimming costume.4 -
No coupons on this jumper! I used pale-sage DK wool I bought in New Zealand in 1987, with a strand of 4-ply cream lambswool I already had a cone of form eBay some years ago, a strand of green lurex from a job lot I bought a few years ago from eBay, all three knitted in alternate rounds with Aran-weight raw silk bought years and years and years ago from Texere for a very low price, possibly because it looks and feels exactly like string
Now it is green string, as it dyes nicely
Very warm and incredibly light! I think it's a bit long in the body, though - and I can see me someday changing it to 3/4 sleeves and cutting it up the front and adding pockets to make a cosy cardigan jacket...
2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:
January (29): winter boots, green trainers, canvas swimming-shoes (15); t-shirt x2 (8); 3m cotton twill (6);
.
2025 second-hand acquisitions (no coupons): None thus far
.
2025 needlework- *Reverse-couponing*:11 coupons :
January: teddybear-lined velvet jacket (11) & hat (0); velvet sleep-mask (0);5 -
