Car insurance renewal - Change of address

Hello
Just wondering if i could get some advise regarding my renewal.
I need to renew my car insurance by the 29th and I'm expecting to complete on a house 1 week later.
I'm not sure if I could get away with putting the new address down on that policy rather than ringing up and changing to be charged to update the address?

You will probably find that your premium will change when you move. If you don't have the correct address for that first week your insurance wouldn't be valid. I wouldn't risk it.
You also say that you are expecting to complete a week later. If you haven't already exchanged then it may be much, much longer before you actually complete.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
