I keep saying to my family not to buy any cards (not just Christmas) but to come and check in my Clinton Cupboard first.
:D Some of mine got used up as I hardly went out in 2020. Still have lots left though.
Do you have thousands of gift bags too? Honestly they fall out when I open the cupboard 🙈
    Mine do too!!
I'm soooo glad it's not just me 😆

I did find myself wondering this year why I was carefully wrapping everything when I too have a pile of gift bags I could use instead…
It's just not the same though.  I understand EH's "lose patience with it if it’s not square or rectangular and shove it in a bag!" but I actually quite like wrapping.  Bf says no one cares about the wrapping but I actually do.

My wrapping looks like a three year old did it. Sad fact.

Bf says he tries really hard to not make his look like fish suppers!  One time, LMG gave me a gift in an old Morrisons bag, such was her inability to wrap.  She clearly didn't check my Clinton Cupboard 😆

  • My wrapping is a disaster this year because a very inquisitive kitten is determined to be involved in the brilliant new game involving big sheets of paper waving around.

Also a huge fan of stationary!

I have paper and tags so I can start wrapping.  I need to buy kids paper.  I have two gifts to pick up; one ordered and one I have to go and buy.  Another gift I ordered has been marked as delivered today by a certain delivery company but there is no sign of it and the picture is just a blur.  Bit annoying.  Need to sort that out tomorrow.  Other than that, I just have a small gift to get but I have no clue what to get.  Once I've sorted that I'll be done with Christmas shopping 🎉

I seem to be buying hand soap like there is another lockdown coming.  Not purposely, I just pick it up when I see it.  I just went to put it in the cupboard and noticed we now have 4 bottles stored.  The two we are using right now are both fairly new so we really don't need any for a while.  We do get through it quickly in the bathroom and I like to have another one ready at all times.

I've been thinking it was Wednesday all day today so it's a pleasant surprise that it's Friday tomorrow.  Usually by Thursday I am done in but I feel ok at the moment.  Probably should get to bed instead of hanging around on here though.

  • Always a delight to realise you’re a day further through the week than you thought you were GAP!

We use bar soap in the bathroom and liquid in the kitchen so I usually have a spare bottle of liquid, and a couple of spare bars - although that’s sporadic as we use Hebridean Soap Company stuff for preference so buy it when we’re up there.  My “Glut” currently is body lotion - which I rarely use. It gets bought for me though…I may sort out some bottles of it to go to the charity shop I think.
