Can I still complain to Wonga about a default they promised to remove?

Options
As the title says really, back when I received multiple defaults, I got in touch with the companies who agreed they would remove the defaults for whatever reasons we spoke about.

I have successfully chased up a few today, and they've agreed they will remove them but I have a letter from Wonga who said the default they added will be removed if paid back by a certain date, which it was - I've only just found the letter as before they said they won't remove it unless I can find the proof.

I now have it, but obviously with everything going on, can I still ask for this to be removed? Or am I out of luck due to them now being shut down and taken over etc.

And before people say it was a fair default etc, I'm not going in to that aspect, I'm just saying they promised to remove it if paid back in full by x date, that was done and they've not kept to their side of the deal so I'm just wanting to know can I chase this anywhere?

If I can't, then so be it, it comes off in 18 months, but still... I'd rather have it removed now as they agreed.

Pretty sure Wonga entered administration about 18 months ago, or at least that is what MSE reported at the time

This is what I was worrying about, would they still accept my complaint or is it likely to just go straight to the bin?

    Thank you both.

You are still able to make a complaint, yes.

    From their website :

If you would like to make a complaint now, the Administrators would encourage you to contact Wonga Customer Care on customercare@wonga.com or call on 0207 138 8330. Wonga Customer Care is receiving complaints in the usual way. The call centre will remain open as normal but please be aware that we will be handling a high number of calls and your wait may be longer than usual.
