  • There are plenty of Dell 7010 desktops available refurbed on Ebay

You could get a similar spec to one you indicated ( i5, 240GB SSD, 16GB ) for around £220

Got one myself, lovely compact machine

that model can be of various cpu types from Intel 8th Generation Celeron processor G4900 to Intel 9th Generation Core I7-9700 and some memory sizes to 32GB, and could even support a external graphics card?

If it is small form factor, then it is a lemon in my eyes.

However it could be the bargain of the year, but could also be a turd?

  • A refurb at around 23% discount is not good value, unless it’s a “customer return” with a full warranty from Dell.

There are a lot of ex business Dell PCs around, some at good prices from established suppliers with 3 to 6 month warranties. They are not the latest and greatest, but are often a fraction of the cost of a new one. I bought an i7 Optiplex, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD, additional graphics card, Win 10, for just over £200. It runs fine for my “home/office” uses.
