Pfft those 'cool' kids will be working in to their 70s while we're all living it up in our 50s because we overpaid our mortgages and could retire early! 😂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Looks like I might be joining you on the redundancy front. My 'consultation' starts next week, so what with holidays and everyone pretending to try to redeploy me and negotiating I should be able to spin it out so my notice period starts in September. I'm started looking straight after the meeting, so hope I can get PILON and end up with a. a bit of time off and b. some savings. It's just a question of working out what I want to do for the next job... which obviously depends on what's available!6
