not all is going well on the Ambassador front - some mild technical problems means the status is "read the forums", "be helpful" but no formal "ferrero rocher" titles. Never mind!
Good weekend, after a slightly frustrating end of week - night out on Friday - lazy day on Saturday and clearing up and gardening today including a lovely visit from our DD1 who had a day off as her BF was busy with something or other!!
Just watching the telly now and looking forward to a slightly shorter week and less busy as I prepare to head North to see OH dad.
falling well behind on steps, but will see if I can catch up by end of the monthI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

So finished work yesterday, spent today helping OH reorganise the kitchen and doing some IT admin. Heading up to see my FIL tomorrow for Easter + a couple of days so will be a bit quiet but not entirely absent. Some conversations to be had about how its all going to work now things are easing up a little virus-wise as he is beginning to feel his bones.I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

mark55man said:lovely sunny morning so going for a walk to get my steps up and then do some shopping and have a trip to our nearby bigger town for some multicultural festival - which sounds like a perfect way to enjoy even more steps
another busy week at work, its just relentless at this time of the year - more travel than usual - its all covered by work, but it used to be that there was something left over from the cost of the petrol to cover wear and tear but now its barely covering the fuel (I don't have a gas guzzler and I am driving typically economically, but also I don't get 45p mile). I know I am lucky not to have along commute which I have to fund as that would be a killer at the moment2 -

sunny overhead, but soggy on the ground. did good days walking and chilling + watched the new bond on pr1me - very good especially for £0.
Dan - I worked out that £0.50 p a mile is £30 an hour if you are doing 60 - so say -25p a mile cost these days that's still £15 an hour for a bit of driving and then admin - Plus my experience is commuting even an hour each way is very doable in the summer - but a bit of a chore later in the year
OSHDTH - looking good - got the prosecco and the Sunday lunch in the fridge - cooking facilities are limited so will be a combination of microwave, grill and temperamental oven turned low to keep things warm
SH - enjoy your day - can't beat a family day even if some time alone after is welcomed/needed
had a very sedate drive up doing 65 mph mainly with a few bursts when it was a bit sticky. left house at 0600 arrived for lunch- Whenever I get up that early I'm always reminded of the late great Robin William quote from Good Morning Vietnam -
"Question: what does the 0 stand for in 0600 -
Answer: oh my god that's early"I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
