Euro Disney for Feb half term

Hi,

Normally I book well in advance for everything.

We have had the thought of going to Disney on the 21st Feb for 3 nights.

The trains are direct and the hotel is the Newport bay.

The.price includes 4 day park tickets.

The price is coming about £1700.

That's 2 adults and 2 children (6 and 10)

With Disney does the price just go up the closer you get to travelling?

Am I being stung for not booking well in advance?

Thanks

  • I think leaving it late is fine if you're not fussed where you're travelling and you might get a late deal. If there's somewhere you definitely want to go then 7 weeks before is leaving it too late IMO. Even more so with somewere like Disney and during a half term.

That’s not actually a bad price for the hotel, park tickets and travel for the half term.

I have in the past booked Disney around 11 months before so can’t comment whether it’s likely to go up but it’s up to you whether you wish to take the risk.
  • Are you looking at booking a package or everything separately?
The price for just the park tickets for your dates (4 days, 2 parks) is coming out at £802 for the four of you via AttractionTix, so I guess depends on the cost of the travel and accommodation on top. School holidays just tend to be more expensive, I don't think booking way in advance makes a huge difference with Disney unfortunately (the price is the same for August this year too!)
