Experian report - electoral roll details 3 years old

My Experian report lists my electoral roll address as the place we last lived in about 3 years ago. I have moved home twice since then and religiously done my electoral registrations at the relevant councils. My Clearscore/Equifax report lists the correct latest address under electoral roll.
I haven't had any issues with obtaining a mortgage or other credit in the intervening period, so am wondering if there is anything to be gained by chasing Experian to correct/update this?

Either raise an enquiry with Experian but also raise on with your local council as well and ask them why0

There's no problem at the local council, I voted recently at the elections and also my Clear score/Equifax report shows the correct updated address under electoral roll, as does Credit karma/TransUnion.0

That only demonstrates that you are on the ER. Not that your council correctly informed Experian.
Start by raising a dispute with Experian but don't discount the possibility you may need to chase up your council to provide the appropriate evidence.0 -
Local councils publish their electoral registers (aka the electoral roll) on 1 December each year and update them each month. As far as the councils are concerned, this is produced for the purpose of voting in elections and referendums and their job ends at that point.
The law then allows legally registered credit reference agencies (Equifax, Experian, Callcredit, etc) to purchase a copy of the register and use the same to update the credit files they maintain.
So, Equifax and Experian are working off of the exact same electoral register/roll. If your Equifax and Callcredit reports have the right address while Experian doesn't, that indicates an issue on Experian's end (eg: unable to match the name, dob, etc).
Given that you haven't had any issues getting a mortgage, credit accounts with an outdated address on your Experian report, I gather it isn't a pressing issue.
I would raise a dispute with Experian and see where it takes you.0 -
I have the same issue: ER correct on other agencies, my old address on Experian. Want to know the irony? I approached the Council to be told they won’t release the monthly update to Experian because they haven’t paid their bill! (Yes, they have to pay a statutory fee for updates). I’ve raised it on their contact form, and lodged a complaint. So far I’ve been told to offer a ‘correction notice’ that lenders ‘may’ take into account. Of course most credit checks are an electronic check so such notes likely to be disregarded. Been rejected for credit twice in 3months. 99% score, home owner, low debt ratio etc.. and this is the only factor I can see that may be affecting outcomes. Are many others experiencing this with Experian?0

Since getting married last year I changed my name on electoral roll and it's not showing on my credit report . I have been turned down 3 times for a money transfer card . Contacted Experian and they told me to contact money supermarket because it's a free one with them .0
