Honda civic question

I see that the Honda Civic 1.0 engine is described as "Cambelt-in-oil"
Any idea what this is and how reliable it is ?

    I'd have thought it was a fairly self-explanatory description.

    It's a cambelt, not a chain.
    But it's running in an oil bath, like a chain.

    It's been around since 2007. It's lighter than a chain, fewer components. It's not proving utterly perfect in use.

    You wouldn't expect it to really, the reason Ford don't have many failures is an ecoboost normally blows up before the cambelt fails.:D
    I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

    (except air quality and Medical Science ;))
