Credit Score and Car Leasing

You have multiple threads on here suggesting that your credit history is an utter mess, and from your questions about the effect of using your overdraft for a few days it looks as though you don’t even have an emergency fund built up. It beggars belief that someone in your situation thinks it sensible to spend fifty thousand pounds on a car.i took the lease out because i wanted it. When i mean mistake i mean i dont no how the credit passed was passed not a mistake by me
Actually, no, it is exactly the sort of person who does this that ends up in the state that you seem to have been in. What beggars belief is that after the troubles you’ve had that you don’t seem to have learned any lessons about not putting yourself in a dangerous situation again.
I wish you luck, but think that you are going to need it.0 -

That's a hot little hatchback and holds it value very well. But I prefer something that allows you to stretch your legs. I've always been rather fond of the MK1 Granada 'Essex' V6 3.0L. Plenty of room inside, plenty of va-va-voom and rear-wheel drive too... :jsourcrates wrote: »How about a 2006 Ford Fiesta Zetec with 99,000 miles in the clock WTL ?I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

It’s been said over and over again.
But goes in one side and straight out the other.0 -
Is more up front favourable to the finance company? 6+35 instead of 3+35? Does this have any impact on acceptance?0

Old post I know. I was wondering the same. If someone only offers 1 month upfront is it more likely to get declined.pd52 said:Is more up front favourable to the finance company? 6+35 instead of 3+35? Does this have any impact on acceptance?0 -
Yes and no... for most leasing you need to have a pretty good credit history, the initial rental you are paying will generally speaking not make any difference to whether you will be accepted or not. However, the initial rental will affect how much your subsequent rental payments are and the lender does have a duty to ensure that it will be affordable for you. If the difference in monthly payments between a 6+35 and a 1+35 means that the higher rentals would be stretching you financially then it would likely result in a decline.purpleparrotuk said:
