Applying for a CC should I pay off my other cards before applying?

Applying for the Virgin Atlantic CC - I have 2 other CC that I pay off every month in full. In the wonderful world of applying for a credit card is this a good thing to do should I have all cards at £0 or does that make me less attractive and less profitable looking?
