Could anyone recommend an electronic cat scarer to keep them out of my garden.
They are using it as a toilet and activating the security system.

Before you spend, my neighbour has one because he hates my 5 cats. It beeps non stop and is so annoying. It does nothing to keep my cats out of his garden.0 -
I bought four from Primrose and eBay, they do not work. I have tried everything and have given up. I usually clear the mess but I hate it. Cat repellents granules are expensive. The cats use front and back lawns. Very upsetting.0

Get a dog. Doesn't stop them but it do cut down on the number of visits made. Depending on where they are doing it, strategically placd sticks can also help. As does keeping the grass cut short. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I got some green jelly like stuff that works well. Get Off cat repellant.0

Crushed moth balls scattered round my garden has been reasonably successful.
Very few cats now and definitely no moths0 -
The electronic ones work with some cats - not all, especially the rare breeds.
'Lion poo' is worth trying, but not guaranteed. But then nothing is!
Chilli powder in the areas they are using as their toilet.
Citrus peel, or a spray made up from citrus juice may put them off.
When you prune the roses, leave the thorny branches in the areas where they dig.
Electrical wire with a low voltage on top of the garden wall/fence may keep them out (unless the fence is an open one!)
Motion-activated sprayer?

We use 'Silent Roar' which is a lion excrement extract.. it doesn't smell and for us is amazing...
we can tell when it wears off as suddenly the cats are back near the bird feeder and toiletting in the flower beds.
It does last a good length of time for us.. and we can just do the perimeter of the garden.0 -
