Good find HK!
I’d like to point out to those who might not already know.
Cheap bus operator Easybus is currently offering journeys from Central and West London to Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports starting at £2 each way.
Also low cost city shuttle bus company Terravision offers fares between Liverpool airport and Manchester city centre for £6 one way or £8 return. They also go to Stansted airport and Luton airport from London.
And Megabus, which offer bus fares across the UK starting at £1 each way plus a 50p booking charge per transaction.
You can also travel from some Yorkshire locations with the new megabusplus service.
Routes included: York, Castleford, Harrogate, Hull, Halifax, Doncaster, Scun-thorpe, Huddersfield and Bradford.
And of course, don't forget National Express Funfares.0 -
Hi all, need to book return travel from Luton airport (23rd dec) to Plymouth (returning 30th Dec).... but alas Megabus dont drive during the xmas season so am a bit shafted into paying for national epxress prices.
Therefore Does anyone know a way of reducing the cost? (currently coming to 180 quid for 3 people return!)0 -

Are there any national express codes out there please? I'm looking for Coventry to Heathrow on 28/11/09 returning on 12/12/09. Cheers:beer:0

Have you tried COUNTEN which is still working or hkwintrip’s tip mentioned above?
This is probably too much hassle but would you consider getting a National Express Funfare ticket to London Victoria then getting the tube from there to Heathrow. hkwintrip’s is probably best for you as you’ll most probably won’t want to carry luggage around in London tubes, that’s almost certainly going to be to stressful for you I guess.
By the way, put HEATHROW AIRPORT as you destination as the National Express website won’t recognise any of the other terms e.g. T1, T2, etc.
Edit: I've just noticed that hkwintrip’s tip is from 6th July to 21st Oct only and you'll be returning on 12/12/09.0 -
