OP, how did you pay the cheque in, what date & what bank is your a/c with? By your own admission you are not telling the full story.
So it makes it very difficult to give any advice, more especially when what you are claiming does not seem logicalIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
