Housing Benefit suspended

Hey all,
My housing benefit cycle was due to run from 10/12 until 07/01 but has been suspended today (I’m sorting the reason but may take a little time), and I would then be paid on 07/01. My question is: if it was suspended as of today, will I get paid from 10/12 until today or will it suspend all of the payment?

If it has been suspended I would expect you to get no more payments until the suspension is lifted but the only way to know is to ask your local authority.

Most odd that you are paid on a Tuesday (HB is paid from Monday) and every 4 weeks as that's mainly for landlords - any how, payments that are suspended won't pay up to the date of supension as the whole lot is a payment run

If you don't get the suspension off by the next run - normally the Wednesday before, you may not get your 07/01/20 payment either (from 10/12/19 to 07/01/20

but if this happens the payment officer could force a run to give you the 2 weeks prior
but as Calcotti suggested speak to the council
