Gladstones solicitors letter before claim

I have received a letter before claim today from Gladstones on behalf of Local Parking Security Limited. The date of charge is January 2015. How far back do they go? 5 years ago is a long time.

Five years in Scotland, six years in England and Wales. I'm not sure about NI.
Send an SAR to the scammers as per the information in the NEWBIES. Include a copy of the V5 for proof of ID if available or a redacted utility bill.
Do not reveal the driver's identity. Only the keeper is involved
Start reading the guide to court by bargepole you will find in post 2 of the NEWBIES.
Has a complaint ever been made to the landowner where the dastardly deed eventually took place?
Do you have any more information for us such as the location, including country? What documents were received at the time and what was done about it?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Lot's of old claims being issued by the dodgy legals at the moment
You now need to get Gladstones to jump in their Tardis and go back in time and provide you with pictures of the signs going back to 2015
You cannot be expected to have pictures from nearly 5 years ago.
They brought the claim, now it's up to them to prove it
Have they added a fake £60 ? with some rubbish about why0 -
No way will LPS have used the POFA on their NTK in 2015, so do they now from an early appeal in 2015 who was driving, or not?
