door lock gearing / mechanism

Evening all and seasons greetings etc :)

The multi point lock mech on one of my doors isnt working properly the latch in one of the slots isnt dropping back fully every time and sometimes its stopping the door opening - last time i had to prise the door away from the frame to open the door.

Its a safesyle door and has been up for a good few years now, I see other places selling gears mechs, but not safestyle ones - does anyone know If i will need to get a safestyle one or if I would be able to get one that would do the job?

Dont really want to got to safesyle as they would probably try and sell me a new door haha

Any locksmith should be able to either fix the current mechanism or provide a new one to fit. No need to go to Safestyle.

AFAIK most manufacturers use bought in locks from various makers.
There are plenty of suppliers of replacement upvc door and window parts online
    Here just one

Have you tried oiling the mechanism? If you look on the side on the mechanism, there are often holes with an oil symbol which you can squirt some penetrating oil into.
