Microwave heat pack

Hi
My partner has received a microwaveable heat pack (https://www.houseofdisaster.com/products/moomin-microwavable-hottie) that contains tourmaline beads. Basically you put it in the microwave with a cup of water for thirty second intervals up to 2 mins in order to warm it up. The instructions state that you should ensure your microwave turntable can rotate freely, however ours is a flatbed one with no turntable.
The instructions also say to that you should rotate the product to prevent burning. Is it safe to use this product if we just rotate it ourselves at the thirty second intervals mentioned on the instructions?

As I understand it, the more modern microwaves without turntables effectively "stir" the microwave beam around so that anything inside heats evenly. With more traditional ones with turntables, the microwaves only cover part of the inside of the cabinet which is why the food has to be rotated by the turntable so that it passes through the beam.
So yes, if yours is a modern fancy one it should be fine.0 -
We have a non turntable model and my wife has a heatpad that we heat up in the microwave,no problems.0
