Hiya Moneysavers,
does anyone know of any websites with private landords advertising flats to rent in central London.
Moving October'ish and trying to find quality apartment without going through expensive agents.

You could try loot.co.uk.
I think you need to buy early bird tokens for all the newer properties.
Having said that, with such a glut of rentals (unlike when I was looking years ago), they're probably not needed these days.
And do you really mean Central London? How central? Regent Street central, or one of the suburbs?0 -
sorry for my ignorance but what are early bird tokens.
looking as central as poss, Marble Arch, Paddington maybe0 -

You buy tokens on the loot site that enables you to look at rental properties the moment they come onto the market. Otherwise you have to wait 2-3 days.
Some of these ads will be through agents, but you can normally tell those that aren't.0 -
You can also look on https://www.gumtree.com and go to the flats to rent section. A lot of them are agent's adverts but there are also some private landlords there. I know a few people who have got places through them. Another place is https://www.moveflat.com but that is mostly for shared houses. There are a few flats there though.0
