Not sure if it is still true but Nottingham Uni used to have a female-male ratio of 2 or 3:1 - maybe that’s why he wanted to go there0

I know university lecturers who spend their free time writing wikipedia articles on their area of expertise. It's therefore not that surprising that their lecture material would be similar to the Wikipedia pages.
But university is about guided but independent thought. What has your son done on this independent thought side? He's not at school any more, he should be thinking for himself and generating unique ideas by pulling together different sources of scholarly material. Is this scholarly material not available to him?0 -
