buying a new build house and applying for credit card

Hi,
I am currently in the process of buying a new build house which has an estimated move in date of May. I am wanting to get a 0% purchase card or like a cashback american express card to purchase all my big items so I can get a bit of money back. Thing such as washing machine, fridge/freezer, sofa.
When would you recommend to apply for the credit card? Would it be like once I move in? Just wary it takes 7-10 working days for the card to come then would have to wait for things to be delivered.

It can also be very hard with credit when first move in a new build, as address not found and stabilityDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
