Visited a smaller store this morning, got 3 items of children's wear (1 Christmas outfit for next year, a pair of joggers and a long-sleeved t-shirt). Also got some more bras - repeats of my purchases from the larger store on Boxing Day, might as well stock up on the basics at 70% off, especially when you know they fit well as M&S sizing is inconsistent!

Could have bought the cord trousers from the ladies wear dept, but I just purchased them online and they only had one colour. Everything else left was either still too expensive (coats) or low quality dresses etc. Better range of sizes in this smaller store. Loads of lingerie left in this store in every size, even PJs.

Much less menswear and nothing that suited, might have bought some multi-packs of shirts but they didn't stock them in this store.

No previews now - they've stopped it. It was about the only thing worth having the card for.

I visited my local store on this basis this afternoon - most reduced fancy bras (ie the ones you would handwash rather than stick in the WM) were £11.99. With a huge range of sizes, you have to be lucky to find yours. Tbh I prefer the standard ranges which do the job and contain a lot more cotton.

You have to be quick. I went again today, to take my husband to look around the men's section. It had about halved in size since Thursday night. Likewise the lingerie section had been completely moved in my local, biggest store - stock had vastly reduced since Thursday evening and virtually no PJs or nightwear left. However there were still masses of ladies wear overall.
