Set aside or settled ccj

Options
Hi i recently settled a ccj on 28/11/19 from 2015 and have been waiting for my reports to update it marked as settled rather than active... anyway just checked my clear score and it says set aside date 29/11/2019 so does that mean it has been set aside as in doesn't exist anymore rather than just settled as I was expecting? It sounds too good to be true.

I’m still waiting for the other cra reports to update to see what they say.

  • If it is set aside it won’t be in your reports anymore.

    Is it still visible?

Did you apply for it to be set aside?
  • Its not the new report its just a pre-alert of upcoming changes and says set aside on 29/11/19 so ill have to wait 5 days to see if its still on or not.

I haven't applied for it to be set aside I've been paying it since the judgement and then just overpaid it the last year or 2 in the hope that a settled one is better than active when applying for a mortgage.

  • Instead of Clearscore, I would check my statutory report from Equifax, to see the status of the account.

I would also check the statutory reports direct from TransUnion and Experian too.

And well done on settling the account. :)

Lenders will use the Registry Trust. That's the data that counts.

On a side note my equifax has a late payment marker for the water bill when it was set up in may 2017... every other payment is green since it’s literally just the account opening with a late payment. Im gutted as i wasn't aware of it and it feels like one step forward and 2 steps back. All of my other accounts are 100% green. Ive emailed the company to see if they can do anything about it for me.
