Question re John Lewis

I usually buy big ticket items from John Lewis as their extended warranty is great, however went to purchase a TV (I have never made a claim)
and they added £60 delivery charge to Northern Ireland. I never had to pay for delivery before.
Is this a new thing?
I did see the free mainland delivery in the link below.
I am disabled so buy online.

thank you Browntoa...... but this is the first time I was charged for sending to NI which is UK. The customer support lady, kept telling me its because I live in the Republic of Ireland. When I told her I am in the Uk, gave her details of all my past purchases, none where charged extra delivery.
She was stumped, apparently a manager will be phoning me back tomorrow,
very strange.0 -
Cost and timings
Free delivery when you spend £50 and over, £3.50 for orders under £50. Exceptions apply to large items being delivered to non-UK mainland locations.
You might find free delivery if you purchase from a reputable retailer in NI / the Republic?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Can I suggest Richer sounds? Same price, free delivery to NI and their 6 year warranty is longer than John Lewis's 5.
