The address is correct has been the same letting agent since I moved in over 18 years ago at this time he dealt with everything the new owner purchased 15 years ago with me as a sitting tenant they seem to have some sort of weird agreement.
To be honest it's not the first time they have both been unreachable has happened a few times before and I know I am partly to blame with my chin up and just make do attitude
I just feel as I have been lax the last few times I should make a stand this time probably due to having nothing to lose as I am moving now any way.
Not even sure how to go about getting my deposit returned as I know its not in a deposit scheme
Thank you for the link I will go through them and decide what to do next as I am in Scotland some of the rules may be different0 -
Oh good grief! Now you tell us!
Yes - it's different in Scotland. Please ignore all my posts + the link above.
Now, where was I before I was interrupted? Oh yes, wrapping christmas presents. Season of goodwill and cheer and all that.......

Oh dear
Contact your local council they can and will refer him to the Housing and Property Chamber which can force him (upon penalty of removal from the landlord register - making him unable to rent ANY property in Scotland)
Has your landlord provide you with:- Satisfactory EICR report (electrical certificate)
- GAS certificate
- EPC - Energy Performance Certificate
- Copy of which scheme he has protected your deposit
- correct and working interlinked smoke / heat detectors
- A working carbon monoxide detector (with a min year life and sealed batteries)

As I said I should have moved years ago but ill health and pure laziness have been the issue it wasn't till my 20 year old daughter moved out at the end of last year due to the house not being suitable for a baby she was pregnant at the time that I really started putting some effort in.
At the end of the day at least I have a bed and a roof over my head some people aren't that lucky.
I've never missed a rent payment and I think I have been a good tenant
An apology or acknowledgment of my grievances would be nice
I have spoken to environmental health this morning unfortunately they are very busy and unable to come out till after the new year but have advised me to get as much evidence as possible0 -
Contact the council, they have a private sector team / office who can take things up on your behalf
If you start a complaint about repairs and then leave the complaint will still continue and the landlord will still have to prove things he was requested to do were done.
Write to him and ask him for copies of an EPC and an EICR.baldly going on...0
