EU based insurance company and Brexit

My annual travel insurance policy is with a company based in Ireland. They say they have plans in place to continue cover when Brexit happens but haven’t disclosed the extent of that plan e.g. how long? Features 100% covered? I am going to Africa for 2 weeks on 31 January 2020. I need to have cover. Should I buy another policy as back up? If so, should it be from a UK based company? Or will American firms also be ok? Thanks for your advice

They have plans so whats the issue?
I buy stuff from all over the world, nobody seems bothered whether we are in the EU or not, as long as they get paid and the shipping costs remains the same.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
